SPCA: Animal Cruelty/Abuse Prevention

The SPCA has been protecting animal rights for years. At the Prince George's county centers, they have a cruelty/abuse prevention program. They have full-time volunteer employees, a 24 hour answering service, and humane officers trained to look for neglect. You can find more information here.

  1. I really like SPCA. WE adopted one of our dogs from the Bucks county SPCA. Philadelphia also has humane officers and a TV show animal cops.I think its filmed in other cities also.

  2. I agree with the comment above. SPCA is a great non-profit organization because it gives animals a voice and protection. They also dont allow people to get away with abuse anymore which was a common practice in the past and still happens with dog fights and such. Animals have feelings and need to be taken care of.

Me and my family has adopted every one of our animals, 9 cats and 2 dogs. One of our dogs was dog bait in pitbul fights, if it wasnt for the SPCA our dog would have died and never been able to live a full and happy life. No living thing should ever have to go through any kind of abuse, all the love and support to SPCA.
